Dr. Gordon Perkin - Dr. Perkin is a co-founder and past president of the Program for Appropriate Technology in Health . A physician for over 40 years, Gordon was a program officer posted internationally with the Ford Foundation, a long-term consultant to the World Health Organization, and a Senior Fellow in the Global Health Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he was the Executive Director for Global Health.

Dr. Wilbert Keon, is a heart transplant specialist, did the first neo-natal heart transplant in Canada and performed the first artificial heart transplant in Canada. Dr. Keon is also a Senator in the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa with a life time appointment to the Canadian Senate. Further, Dr. Keon is the founder of the Heart Institute of Canada.

  • He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Malta by Pope John Paul II.
  • In 1994 he was awarded an honorary D.Sc. from Carleton University.
  • In 2007, he was inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame.

    Dr. Robert Highley, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director MD, MPH, FACC
    Dr. Highley earned a bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana, an M.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar having earned his MPH in clinical decision-making and computer applications for medicine in 1980. He has acquired more than 20 years of experience designing algorithms for the practice of medicine and has expertise in medical decision-making and randomized clinical trials. Dr. Highley is the founder and chief architect ofChi-Square Technologies, LLC

    Charles Payne, President and COO
    Mr. Payne has more than 30 years experience in both international and domestic arenas. His work revolves around structuring start up companies and revamping the structure of struggling firms that need start-up or turn around expertise.

    Joseph Yuen, Software Engineer

    Mr. Yuen brings more than 20 years of experience in the Hi-Tech industry with Digital Equipment, Compaq and Hewlett Packard. An experienced IT professional with a proven track record in bringing products to market, Yuen provides expertise in developing java-based performance management tool suites and directing multi-disciplined Software Engineering Teams. Yuen earned a BS in computer engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
